Why you should use main note over permanent note

While reading about zettelkastens, you may come across the term "permanent note". This is fundamentally the same thing as a main note. Bob Doto recommends the term main note over permanent notes. This is due to the confusion that often arises around the term permanent note; it is not permanent in the sense that it should never be edited, simply that it has a permanent home in your zettelkasten.
