Brewing notes
Brewing method:: Werstern
Brewing temperature:: 100° C
Weight:: 7g
Volume:: 250 ml
Rinse:: 5 s
Steep time:: 20, 20, 30 s
First steep
- Aroma is very deep and earthy but i'm not picking up any of the citrus from the tangerine
- rich brown brew
- Tastes a lot like it smells: earthy and complex, but it also has a bright sweet note that might be the citrus trying to come through
- Has that classic pu'erh funkiness
- rich flavour without any of the tanniny mouth dryness even in the aftertaste
Second steep
- even darker tea than the first steep
- almost a smokiness to the aroma
- similar flavour but with added smokiness
- brighter sweeter note was missing
Third steep
- aroma still good still complex and smokey
